Let's buy local

Véronique

There is a growing buy-local mood in the past few years. 2020 will be, without any doubt, a record year in terms of local purchasing. More than ever, we need to make sure every penny we spend is spent into our local economy during this crisis.

Discover how you can participate into your local economy by buying from Panda shoes.

Panda has been established in Quebec for more than 70 years. Did you know?

It all started in 1947. The only location at the time was located on Plaza St-Hubert in Montreal. The store was recognized as a retailer of choice when it came to finding the perfect shoe for little feet. Today, Panda is proudly serving a fourth generation of toddlers and preteens and counts 23 stores throughout the province of Quebec as well as one online store that ships anywhere in Canada.

Mainly a female-headed company, Panda prioritizes a specialized and dedicated approach for kids by offering multiple categories of footwear products in more than 70 brands, some of which are made in Quebec.

When we think about the range of Quebec-made products sold at Panda, we immediately think about the Panda winter boots and duckies that are made in Quebec City by a company named Hichaud. When we buy one of these products, we are guaranteed to have a high-quality product, especially made for our climate. When you purchase one of them, not only are you participating into our local economy, but you are also helping a person with functional limitations as Hichaud hires 85% of people living with a disability.

New services offered to serve you more rapidly and more efficiently.

Black Friday and the Holidays are fast approaching. Let’s make wise purchases.

We must take into consideration where the money we spend is going. As was mentioning our minister Pierre Fitzgibbon, we must remember that every dollar invested counts and contributes to support our local products and businesses, which stimulates our economy. Let’s buy local.
