Rain boots used to have a bad reputation. Kids usually disliked them and parents didn’t enjoy the idea of having to put them on as it represented a constant struggle, and then they also had to hear about how they were so uncomfortable. Times have changed - a lot. Kids’ rain boots are now fun and way comfier. Here are a few tips, just to make sure you make the right choice.

First and foremost, make sure your kid loves the boots and how they look. After all, they’re the ones who will have to wear them. You can now find boots for all styles. The young active boy will maybe go for the Skipper from Bogs, while the young stylish girl will most likely prefer the First Glitter Hunter one with thermal socks.

And now let’s hear it for the expert tip: add a thermal insole into the rainboot. It will provide more comfort and warmth. Make sure to also choose a boot a little roomier (sometimes even a size up) to make sure it fits perfectly. When your little one’s feet get bigger, you can take the insole out and you don’t have to buy a new pair of boots right away!

It’s time to go outside and play in the water and in the mud! Let’s go!
